The course begins on October 1st, 2010. It is intensive – it's full time, fully residential and concentrated. And it is an education that is to do with our interior, or esoteric, reality. It's about our identity as human beings, our meaning and purpose, and about taking up our real place in the order of things, and in the world, consciously and willingly.
To read more, see About the Six-month Course.
The Beshara School at Chisholme welcomes visitors, volunteers and students throughout the year.
This summer we are undertaking a number of estate, garden and building projects. These include building two or more additional yurts in preparation for the Symposium in September, re-commissioning the workshop, continuing the garden wall rebuild, repairing the greenhouse, plus all those exterior maintenance jobs that can only be tackled in summertime. Work in the garden is ongoing, and on the estate we hope to lay in at least a year's supply of woodfuel for the new biomass boilers.
Let us know if you have particular skills, and we will do our best to put them to good use. There is also plenty of work for enthusiastic and willing hands in the kitchen, house and in every other area that you can think of!

An open invitation to volunteer work on Chisholme's 187 acre estate, primarily in the woodlands and forests. This is an annual event, important for maintaining the 20,000 trees planted under the Millennium Forest for Scotland initiative. There will also be timber harvesting and logging for wood-fuel, as well as other estate projects. This year we are planning to run woodcraft workshops at the weekends for those interested. You are welcome to come for the whole period, or some of it, as you can – bring good outdoor clothing and Wellington boots.
